GO4Export

Do you wish to simply do international business and expand your target market? GO4EXPORT supports entrepreneurs from the Overijssel and Gelderland region who want to succeed internationally!

Export accounts for the success of small and medium-sized businesses. Yet experienced entrepreneurs often encounter difficulties in this area. There is, for instance, lack of knowledge of the country to which one wishes to export; it is difficult to find reliable partners; concluding contracts abroad is unfamiliar territory, and SMEs often do not know which other regional companies operate in the same country.

GO4EXPORT is an initiative of the province of Overijssel and the province of Gelderland in collaboration with other partners, including Oost NL (East Netherlands). The province embarked on this initiative in order to stimulate SME export and economic growth in the region.

For whom is GO4EXPORT intended?

Whether you are starting to export or expanding operations, GO4EXPORT provides support and help to SME companies from Overijssel and Gelderland that wish to conduct business internationally!

What can we help you with?

GO4EXPORT wishes to deploy two activity tracks – “informing and linking” and “facilitating” – in order to support companies that are taking their first steps towards conducting business internationally, or that are expanding their international exporting activities. What can you expect from us?

1. Informing and linking

Webportal

The first item comprises a number of activities. For instance GO4EXPORT has its own web portal providing insight into local, provincial, and national initiatives for promoting export. You will also be informed of events and activities organised by GO4EXPORT and its partners and can meet other entrepreneurs.

Trading round tables

You can also meet other entrepreneurs during so-called “trading round tables” covering varied themes.

Events & Follow-ups

Another way to prepare you for export is by holding a yearly recurring event revolving around a specific theme. The purpose of this event is to treat the subject matter in depth, meet other entrepreneurs, and exchange experiences with them.
By means of follow-ups to these events, GO4EXPORT wishes to bring entrepreneurs in contact with foreign partners. During these events, special attention will be given to specific needs and where the opportunities for you lie.

2. Facilitating

Events

GO4EXPORT can assist you during preparations for visits to trade fairs, participation in trade fairs, and trade trips so as to quickly establish international contacts in order to create or expand exports. E-commerce

Do you wish to grow online abroad? GO4EXPORT can help you carry out your exporting activities via e-commerce. E-commerce offers many export opportunities for trade between companies. By means of a QuickScan, GO4EXPORT can map out your international opportunities in the B2B e-commerce area. Using information provided by the QuickScan, you can engage specialised international bureaus, immediately implement improvements, and/or draw up an e-commerce business plan. Furthermore, you will receive support during the set up and implementation of e-commerce within your own organisation.

Internationalisation

You can also engage GO4EXPORT-student if you have particular questions in the area of internationalisation to be researched. Examples of the services we can provide include small assignments, short term studies, or international research assignments whereby recent graduates can be set to work with their findings within your company.

Trading partners

Certainly our neighbour is also a very important trading partner, offering many opportunities for companies. In order to exploit these opportunities, you can participate in business delegations headed for Germany, and can do so particularly in the HTSM sector.
GO4EXPORT also focuses on China. We will be glad to offer assistance in setting up, developing, and implementing your activities within the Chinese market.

Regional collaboration

The GO4EXPORT initiative was established by the province of Overijssel and the province of Gelderland in the context of internationalisation and expansion through export. Various partners closely collaborate within this initiative.

The strength of the program comes from the lead partner, Oost NL, who joins together with its other partners (VNO-NCW Midden (in collaboration with MKB Midden, Metaalunie and FME), Saxion Hogeschool (in collaboration with Windesheim and Universiteit Twente), MKB-Deventer, Verenigde Maakindustrie Oost (VMO), World Trade Center Twente, Trade Office Zwolle and Novel-T), in order to support you when conducting business internationally. For its activities GO4EXPORT has recourse to the existing SME support infrastructure (Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland, RVO and KvK).
