Export Ambition

A standard has been set on European level and all sport floors must comply with the EN standard with strict requirements. In addition, Sika Nederland complies with various ISO standards and CSR certification. Also, there’s a Cradle-to-Cradle floor being developed: in short, the grinding of the old sport floor and processing it into a subfloor. No waste! Marketing Director Josette de Jong explains: “We develop with a focus on the needs of the market. That’s why we’ve developed a new concept to get more youngsters moving: iSpace Sports. The base floor is the Pulastic LED Court, supplemented by interactive, intelligent sports and games.

The Maldives rest well in the memory of Peter Minnée, and not only because of its exotic location. In cooperation with the International Volleyball Federation, Pulastic contributed after the 2004 tsunami to the restoration of public life and won a UNICEF award.
